Brandon Roy has started the season off really struggling to make shots, and hes still scoring 27 points a game. The Blazers need to figure out what they are doing at point guard, in the NFL they say if you have 2 quarterback’s, you usually dont have one and i think that applies to this situation. Is it too soon to say Greg Oden isn’t who everyone thought he was?

But yeah, the Blazers still haven’t figured out who their point guard is, instead they are starting both Blake and Miller and have Roy playing the small forward spot. The Blazers have a bunch of young assets on the team and need to decide if they really wanna make a run at this season or keep all their young guys for a while longer, but they can’t keep all these guys together, they’re gonna be off rookie contracts soon. Travis Outlaw’s injury is a blow and i expect Rudy Fernandez to get a lot more minutes.

Trade idea 1 – Blazers trade Martell Webster, Jerryd Bayless and Juwan Howard to the Warriors for Corey Maggette and 2nd round pick

Trade idea 2 – Blazers trade Greg Oden, Steve Blake and Nicolas Batum to the Hawks for Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia and 2 first round picks

I thought the signing of Andre Miller wasnt gonna worked when it happened and it seems at this moment it wont but Miller is an outstanding point guard and i think its time Portland got a new coach to take this Blazers team to the next level. The Blazers need Greg Oden to become more of a force in the paint, his post game is a serious work in progress. Travis Outlaw and Rudy Fernandez provide much needed scoring off the bench. The Blazers have depth at every position, are a strong offensive rebounding team and do a good job of not turning the ball over. LaMarcus Aldridge just got paid like an all star, he needs to become an all star type player which i have my doubts about. After losing in the first round last season and getting some playoff experience, can Blazers live up to this seasons higher expections?
